St Stephen’s is nestled in the heart of the Marshwood Vale surrounded by farms and country estates. Much loved by its loyal community and regular church goers, both the church and village hall next door are a focal point for village life.
There is an active PCC that supports church life and the care of the building. With regular services at 11am on the 3rd Sunday of the month and celebrations at festival times, the church is well supported by our small community. Here we are blessing the tractors!
It can seat around 60 people. Next to the church is well equipped hall, with a kitchen and toilets, which is managed by a separate management committee from the church. It is available to hire if you would like a party after as special service or event in the church. To find out more please ask Margaret.

St Stephen's church, Bettiscombe is part of the Golden Cap Benefice, a group of twelve parish churches within the Church of England in the Diocese of Salisbury. The team covers an area of sixty square miles of beautiful coast and countryside along the Jurassic Coast and across the Marshwood Vale.
