St John's, Fishpond is small but very special; a spiritual place where God and Heaven feel extra near. When entering, you feel a strong sense of peace and prayer which is enhanced by the amazing, modern, inspirational, stain glass window behind the altar. We have our regular worship service at 9.30am on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. There’s a feeling of love, as though God puts His arms around you and draws you close, as He has done for generations.  Why not come along and see for yourself?

The whole village is enthusiastically fund raising for new facilities to enable the church to be used for extra activities. So far we have had Open Gardens, Lucien Pissarro exhibition, Art, and Flower Festivals, Tea Parties, Taize Singing, Gallery Choir Concert and very popular Carol Service (with donkeys)!

This simple, peaceful gem of a church is open every day for visitors. It seats around 50 people.

St John The Baptist Church in Fishpond is part of the Golden Cap Benefice, a group of twelve parish churches within the Church of England in the Diocese of Salisbury.  The team covers an area of sixty square miles of beautiful coast and countryside along the Jurassic Coast and across the Marshwood Vale.
