Our Schools … an exciting local partnership

Picture
There are three C of E Primary schools, (Hawkchurch, Marshwood and Lyme Regis), a community primary school (Charmouth) and Woodroffe, the secondary school in Lyme Regis.

Rev Sarah joins collective worship in each of the church schools every week. Volunteers are in school regularly including an ‘Open The Book’ team. Hawkchurch school wrote the liturgy for our Ash Wednesday Service and delivered the service for the Team.

Marshwood School took part in the C of E National online service in August, 'A Service for the Eleventh Sunday after Trinity'.  Year 6 Transition Pilgrimage Days are run at St Wite’s. (The cathedral is just too far away!) We are in touch with the music department at Woodroffe School who use St Michael’s as a venue for
concerts.

Our Midweek Message on 25th January 2024 by Rev Sarah Godfrey includes a message from Hawkchurch School who pray for a new rector.
