Welcome to St Andrew's, at the heart of our fabulous seaside village of Charmouth, on the Dinosaur coast! Our church is open every day and we have worship services every week at 9.30am - all welcome.
On the last Sunday of each month at 5pm we hold Soul Soak, an hour of curated contemporary worship music, prayer and cake, why not come along? Our growing congregation is very friendly and welcoming. We enjoy a variety of worship styles and are excited about what God is doing in our community St Andrew's is also the home of Charmouth Community Cafe, which is open two mornings a week for a cuppa, light lunches and a chat. Just drop in. Working with the wider community and the 'Changing Spaces team', funds have been raised to enable our vision ‘To bring the church to the community and the community to the church’. We are working through a re-ordering programme to improve the church facilities so it can continue to be an important centre for the community, building on the current informal services, concerts, exhibitions and café that attracts lots of visitors, whilst maintaining the respect of the building as a place of worship.
The church seats around 120 people and it has a kitchenette and an accessible toilet. There is good access to parking in Charmouth. There is a village hall available for hire, managed by a separate committee, just around the corner from the church. For more information, please ask Margaret.
