St Andrew’s is the heart of our small farming community and only community building in the village but what a stunning building it is! Built in the 1850’s our Grade II* church is Victorian Gothic and its beauty and colour lifts your spirits when you walk in.
We love our church as it is the place where our community’s memories are made and held. We celebrate the changing seasons with festival services four times a year, when everyone in the village and surrounding area turns up. Please see local publicity for when they are happening. With working parties and social events and our summer Dog Show there’s a lot going on in the name of our church.
Opposite the church is Monkton Wyld Court which host events, training and courses and uses the church for concerts. They also offer accommodation, so St Andrew's is a great place for a wedding as accommodation could be next door! The church can seat around 70 people. Access to toilets, catering and further car parking can often be arranged separately with Court. Please ask Margaret.

St Andrew's, Monkton Wyld is part of the Golden Cap Benefice, a group of twelve parish churches within the Church of England in the Diocese of Salisbury. The team covers an area of sixty square miles of beautiful coast and countryside along the Jurassic Coast and across the Marshwood Vale.
